Dr. Carlos Mendoza

About Me

Dr. Carlos Mendoza is a distinguished ophthalmologist known for his expertise in retinal surgery, uveitis management, and age-related macular degeneration. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. Dr. Mendoza then pursued a residency in Ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA, followed by a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Doheny Eye Institute. As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Mendoza is highly respected in his field and is an active member of the Retina Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has a passion for research, particularly in the areas of retinal diseases and surgical innovations. Dr. Mendoza is also dedicated to global eye health and has participated in numerous medical missions to provide eye care in underserved regions around the world.
